We are a Bilingual Spanish Preschool in King County, Washington, a loving, family-run school that began in 2005. We evolved out of a passion for seeing students blossom and passing on a love of the Spanish language.
In 2010, we received a Certification of Accreditation for Family Child Care, awarded by the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). We received this award for attaining the highest standards of quality for the family child care profession.
We have been recognized by the Foundation of Early Learning at their 10th anniversary in 2010 for preparing children for success in Kindergarten.
We are also an Eco-Healthy Child Care Endorsed Program, and we were recognized by the bilingual magazine entitled Eco-Logica in 2015.

Rocio Gannaway
Maestra Rocio earned an Associate Degree in Business Management from Clatsop Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Linfield College. After earning her degrees, she worked for a few years for two international companies.
Teaching has always interested Maestra Rocio. She has taught Spanish to children of different ages and levels since 2000. Her goal as an educator is simple: to provide children with a fun learning environment and to build a foundation for life-long learning.
Her dream came true in September of 2005 when Lagarllito’s Garden Bilingual Spanish School, a Bilingual Spanish Preschool in King County, Washington, opened its doors to group and private Saturday classes. These classes served 7-to-12-year-olds and adults. The next month, she started to teach pre-kindergarten classes, which gave her the opportunity to work with wonderful children.
In November 2008, she received her Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program certificate. She obtained my Quality Standards for NAFCC Accreditation in January 2010. These are the highest credentials obtainable in early childhood education, and she continues to attend training classes to improve the program.
